Darren Woodson: The Cowboys 'need' to re-sign DeMarcus Ware
The prevailing thought heading into free agency for the Dallas Cowboys can be summed up in two words: Pass rush.
They lack one, they need one and they won't ever Moritz Boehringer Authentic Jersey be considered serious contenders for a Super Bowl without one. Few understand this better than legendary strong safety Darren Woodson, who won three Super Bowls as a member of the club from 1992-2003.
In that time, Woodson played alongside the likes of Jim Jeffcoat, Tony Tolbert, Ken Norton and illustrious Hall of Fame defensive end Charles Haley.
The Cowboys’ season may be over, but they’re not mailing it in. Don’t miss any breaking offseason news, take a second to sign up for our FREE Cowboys messenger!
So when Woodson, a Ring of Honor and Texas Football Hall of Fame inductee, says the team has an issue on defense -- they have an issue on defense.
"It all starts up front," said the five-time pro bowler, via http://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-andrew-gachkar-jersey-c-2_62.html The Dallas Morning News. "When we had our biggest success on the Cowboys, our front seven dominated. That's what they've got to get back to.
And Woodson has an idea that mirrors what some others are also calling for this offseason.
He wants to see the Cowboys bring back the team's all-time sack leader, DeMarcus Ware.
"Love it," says Woodson. "You don't have to play him on every down either. They can use him as a situational pass rusher. They need someone, when it's third-and-6 that's going to be a freak. We had Charles Haley as our freak. They need a freak on third down.
"If you're looking for a situational guy, look what Dwight Freeney did with the Atlanta Falcons. Not only was he a situational guy, he was helping Vic Beasley on the other side with the mental approach. That's where DeMarcus Ware could help you. NotAlfred Morris Youth Jersey only can he be an elite pass rusher, there's his experience.
"We had Greg Ellis trying to help the young guys. I think DeMarcus Ware could do the same. He did the same with Von Miller. He can do it here. I think they have some young guys who can get the job done, but they have to look out at that free agent market and see if they can bring in another guy."
All is not lost, however, as there's at least one pass rusher on the roster Woodson sees are teetering on the verge of breaking out.
"DeMarcus Lawrence," Woodson noted. "He needs more reps, and he has to be available. He has to mentally checked in, too."
Lawrence will be returning from his second back surgery in a year as he enters the final year on his rookie deal, and now's the time for him to prove Woodson and the Cowboys right. His ability to impact the game will go a long way to seeing http://www.authenticnflraidersshop.com/shop-by-players-kenny-stabler-jersey-c-2_31.html the team turn the corner in the postseason, and if Ware returns to contribute -- it'll certainly help their case.
Besides, who wouldn't love seeing a "DeMarcus" terrorizing opposing QBs from both sides of the defensive line at the same time?
Sure you would.

Gordmans closing a warning to other brick-and-mortar stores
Nebraska based discount departmentJustin Ellis Authentic Jersey store Gordmans announced Monday they filed for bankruptcy and plan to liquidate all their stores. Jim Otto is the president of the Nebraska Retail Federation and says this news follows announcements by other big retailers who are also closing locations across the country.
Otto says, “It is a continuation of a trend we have seen we’re seeing nationwide. Brick-and-mortar retailers are having a real challenge and the number one concern and competitors are the Amazon’s of the world. It is just more convenient for people to shop online.”
Otto says in order to be successful, brick-and-mortar stores need to have a niche market, unique merchandise and even provide somehttp://www.authenticraiderssale.com/shop-by-players-jerry-rice-jersey-c-2_42.html entertainment. He says years ago when Gordmans was Richman-Gordman they had a zoo play area for children. He says now sporting goods stores have ferris wheels inside to attract customers. He says it isn’t bad for stores to develop a destination marketing plan to get people in the door.
Even if people enter those stores they have to offer some incentive for people to buy their products. Otto says, “If you can buy the same thing at 50 different places you are going to have a hard time in your brick-and-mortar store because people will go for price. Unless you can give some advice or expertise as to how the product is used, it has http://www.authenticsteelerssale.com/shop-by-players-dan-mccullers-jersey-c-2_67.html to be more than the product because you can get that online.”
Gordmans has been in operation since 1915 and currently operates 106 stores in 22 states.

Patriots sign RB Rex Burkhead
The New England Patriots announced Tuesday Deangelo Williams Authentic Jersey that they have signed former Bengals running back Rex Burkhead. Terms were not disclosed.
Burkhead entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft choice out of Nebraska in 2013. At 5-foot-10, 210 pounds, he could be eyed to fill Brandon Bolden's role in New England as a reserve running back and special-teamer.
Burkhead reflected on the signing in a tweet.

Burkhead had 74 carries for 344 yards and two touchdowns and 17 receptions for 145 yards last season. He played 22 percent of the team's offensive snaps in 2016 and 47 percent of the special-teams snaps.
Burkhead, who turns 27 on July 2, was primarily a special-teamer in his first three NFL seasons, before injuries to Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard opened opportunities for him on offense last season.
"I'm confident in my skills," Burkhead said last season, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. "I know what I can do; just needed an opportunity. For me, it came Year 4 into the NFL, so I've been patiently waiting for it and just did my best out there when I got the chance."
At running back, the Patriots have Dion Lewis, James White, D.J. Foster and Tyler Gaffney under contract for 2017. LeGarrette Blount and Bolden arehttp://www.officialvikingshop.com/shop-by-players-jerick-mckinnon-jersey-c-2_5.html unrestricted free agents, and Lewis and White are scheduled for unrestricted free agency after the 2017 season.

Recent cornerback contracts could make it tougher for Vikings to keep Xavier Rhodes
Apparently the New England Patriots weren’t happy satisfied with a defense that was good enough to win the Super Bowl.
On the first day of free agency, the Chaz Green Authentic Jersey Patriots announced a monster contract for former Buffalo Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore, despite already having a quality No. 1 shutdown corner in Malcolm Butler.
Here’s now the deal breaks down (via overthecap.com):
Last year he allowed 9.4 Yards Per Attempt in coverage according to Football Outsiders, which was 77th out of 84, Pro Football Focus ranked him 61st of 112 (though he had scored higher the previous two years) and Football Outsiders’ “Success Rate” stat ranked Gilmore 40th of 84.
One stat in his favor was that Gilmore was targeted only 51 times, the second fewest times among corners who played all 16 games. That would indicate that opponents were hesitant to test Gilmore and likely only threw his direction when it was a sure thing.
Another factor to consider is that Rex Ryan’s defense sputtered in part because the former Jets coach didn’t adapt his scheme to up-tempo offenses. Many players’ production dipped from when the Bills were an elite defense in 2014 under Jim Schwartz.
The Patriots are plenty familiar with Gilmore’s talents, having faced him twice per year since he was drafted in the first round by the Bills. It’s hard to question Bill Belichick’s decision to throw a truckload of money at Gilmore since, well, he’s Bill Belichick – and it’s very possible his game improves in New England – but the Benson Mayowa Youth Jersey former South Carolina Gamecock is not currently considered one of the game’s top 5% defensive backs.
Compare Gilmore’s numbers to Xavier Rhodes and it appears the Minnesota Vikings’ cornerback has performed better as he’s come into his prime. Rhodes allowed just 5.9 Yards Per Attempt last season and had five interceptions while often playing the “shutdown” role, matching up with the opponent’s No. 1 receiver. There have been different numbers, but NFL.com wrote that Rhodes allowed a league-low 39.2 rating against.
So Rhodes’ name was pushed up into the “elite” category in the NFL along with players like Aquib Talib, Richard Sherman, Patrick Peterson etc.
Another corner who made a name for himself in 2016 was AJ Bouye, who allowed 5.4 Yards Per Attempt and was ranked third overall by Pro Football Focus.
He hit the market as well and received even more than Gilmore.
Instead of signing extensions with their givenhttp://www.authenticnflraidersshop.com/shop-by-players-lester-hayes-jersey-c-2_23.html teams, Gilmore and Bouye decided to hit the market and it paid off (understatement alert!). It would be hard to argue that Rhodes shouldn’t do the same thing to maximize his payday.
Teams are masterful at finding ways to fit players under the cap, but the Vikings might have a tough time matching a mega offer.
A decision will have to be made on a contract extension for Sam Bradford. Minnesota will either have to franchise to sign Bradford long term, which could cost $20 million or more. If Teddy Bridgewater isn’t recovered and prepared to take over as the Vikings starter in 2018, the Vikings may still have to pay him if they pick up his fifth-year option. Also, Anthony Barr’s fifth-year option is up and Sharrif Floyd hits unrestricted free agency. And if the Vikings are thinking two years out, the 2019 group of UFAs includes Stefon Diggs, Danielle Hunter, Eric Kendricks, Linval Joseph and Everson Griffen.
The Vikings may attempt to work http://www.authenticraiderssale.com/shop-by-players-latavius-murray-jersey-c-2_8.html out a long-term deal with Rhodes this offseason or Rhodes may choose to bet on himself and look to hit the market next offseason. It will be a situation worth watching going into 2017.

Raiders' Mario Edwards Jr. working hard to regain form this offseason
Oakland Raiders DL MarioCarnell Lake Youth Jersey Edwards Jr. was injured for most of the 2016 season with a severe hip strain he suffered in a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
After being place on injured reserve with a designation to return, Edwards was eligible to return as early as Week 9. The team took a very cautious approach with their 23-year-old defensive end choosing not to put him back on the field until Week 16 against the Colts.
Edwards finished the season playing in http://www.authenticsteelerssale.com/shop-by-players-dan-mccullers-jersey-c-2_67.html just two regular season games where he saw limited snaps, including Oakland’s playoff loss to the Houston Texans.

Raiders should steer clear of Jamaal Charles in free agency
If Edwards’ Instagram is any indication,http://www.officialnflapparelshop.com/nfl-jerseys-denver-broncos-c-1_1071.html fans should expect him to return to the field strong in 2017.
After a promising rookie season in 2015, there is reason to believe that Edwards can still be a key contributor on defense moving forward.

Star Evaluation: Suspension, Injury Slowed DeMarcus Lawrence’s 2016 Impact
The roster turnover is about to begin. Free agencyL.C. Greenwood Womens Jersey opens Thursday, and the 2017 NFL Draft isn’t far behind it. Over the next two months, the Cowboys will lose and replace a sizable portion of their roster.
For every new face, however, there are dozens of familiar ones that will return to begin a new campaign. From established veterans to second-year players, the vast majority of the Cowboys’ 2017 team is already on the roster. In the coming weeks, the staff of DallasCowboys.com will preview those players, analyzing where they’ve been and where they’re going.
The series continues with fourth-year defensiveJack Lambert Youth Jersey end and former second-round draft pick DeMarcus Lawrence.
What’s Been Good: Lawrence gave the defensive line rotation a boost when he returned last October from a four-game NFL suspension. He ranked fourth on defense with 13 pressures despite playing only 327 defensive snaps in nine regular-season appearances (three starts). When he’s been relatively healthy, he’s been arguably the defense’s best pass rusher. (See: a team-best eight sacks in 2015.)
What’s Been Bad: The suspension cost Lawrence the first month of the season, and although he was able to play in the team’s divisional-round playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers, recurring back problems sidelined him for the final threehttp://www.officialnflapparelshop.com/nfl-jerseys-atlanta-falcons-c-1_661.html games of the regular season. In fact, the Cowboys tried to manage Lawrence’s workload even before sitting him down in December; he played only 13 snaps in a Week 14 loss to the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium.
2016 Highlight: Lawrence’s most productive game happened to be one of the Cowboys’ signature wins: a 35-30 road victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lawrence tallied his lone sack and forced fumble of the season to go along with a season-best four tackles.
What’s Next: Lawrence had back surgery in January for the second consecutive offseason. Speaking at the NFL Scouting Combine last week, head coach Jason Garrett didn’t give a clear timetable for Lawrence’s recovery but said he’s doing well. The Cowboys still seem in favor of adding pass rush help to Rod Marinelli’s defensive linehttp://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-jerome-bettis-jersey-c-2_56.html rotation. As free agency nears, they’re relatively short on salary cap space, but April’s draft does appear deep with edge rushers. Lawrence’s return should help, but it seems likely the D-Line group will look a little different when the 2017 season starts.

On Thursday, Steelers GM Kevin Colbert said that the team has not "closed the door" on re-signing him this offseason, according to Joe Rutter of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Colbert's announcement reiterated what Steelers.com's Bob Labriola wrote about the situation last week when he wrote that releasing Gilbert was mostly above saving money.
"The rookie contract Justin Gilbert signed with the Browns in 2014 included a $1.2 million roster bonus to be paid in 2017 along with a salary of $970,023," Labriola wrote. "For a player who hadn’t done anything with this team yet, the Steelers saw that as too high a price to pay, when there are going to have to be salary cap dollars allocated to Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown this offseason for sure, along with getting ready to deal with the expiring contracts of Stephon Tuitt and Ryan Shazier.
"The Steelers are not opposed to having Gilbert competing for a roster spot in 2017, but not at that guaranteed price. They have not closed the door Marcus Sherels Youth Jersey on Gilbert’s return, but it would have to be at a lesser price than $2.2 million for 2017."

Traded to Cleveland for a sixth round pick just before the start of the 2016 regular season, Gilbert, the eighth overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, did not start a single game during his lone season in Pittsburgh. In 12 regular season games with the Steelers, Gilbert was credited with one tackle while returning three kickoffs for 69 yards.
Gilbert was quickly ridiculed on social media after being released by the Steelers, with former Cleveland teammate Joe Thomas saying this on Twitter:

Despite Gilbert's lack of playing time, he and thehttp://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-andrew-sendejo-jersey-c-2_48.html Steelers had nothing but positive things to say about each other when speaking to the media during the 2016 season, unlike Brandon Boykin, who continuously used the media to question the Steelers' handling of him during his lone season in Pittsburgh in 2015.
“(Gilbert) is very much in our plans," Tomlin said in an interview with Steelers.com prior to Pittsburgh's Week 14 game against the Buffalo Bills. "You often cannot see it, because of the nature of position he’s in. He’s the No. 4 cornerback right now. The fourth corner is primarily a special-teamer until something happens to one of three guys, and then the fourth corner is playing about 45 snaps a game. I routinely have that conversation with him, and I’ll tell Steelers Nation that."
"This reminds me a little bit like Oklahomahttp://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-darren-woodson-jersey-c-2_67.html State, the relationship I had with the guys," Gilbert told ESPN in October about his first month with the Steelers. "I didn’t really joke around with nobody in Cleveland. I didn’t really hang out with none of them."They treat me like a grown man. I’m a grown man now, so I have to take responsibility. It feels normal."

Analyzing the San Francisco 49ers’ wide receivers and tight ends
This past football season was one Alfred Morris Womens Jersey of the worst for 49ers’ wide receivers in quite some time. Previous general manager, Trent Baalke, decided to overlook their glaring need at the position last offseason. He didn’t draft a wide receiver until the sixth round with Aaron Burbridge. He also didn’t sign a big name at the position until right before the season started when they added their unexpected receiving leader, Jeremy Kerley. On the other hand, tight ends Vance McDonald and Garrett Celek combined for an impressive 741 yards and seven touchdowns. The two aren’t by any means at the top of the league at their position, but they are certainly one of the strengths of the team. I expect them to improve in an enhanced Kyle Shanahan offense.

Garcon is yet to total more than 59 receiving yards in a game this season. Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
The 49ers could be without two of their top three wide receivers from the 2016 season. They released Torrey Smith and have not yet re-signedAustin Howard Womens Jersey Quinton Patton or Rod Streater opening up addition salary cap space for incoming players. However, they will keep the highly under-appreciated receiver Jeremy Kerley who led the 49ers in receiving yards and receptions. Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin, who marked two of Kyle Shanahan’s first big acquisitions, will join Kerley and the other wide receivers. Pierre Garcon looks to help improve the 49ers’ league worst passing offense that averaged just 181.9 yards per game. Garcon has accumulated 3,916 yards over the past four seasons and already has two seasons of experience with coach Kyle Shanahan. Goodwin is coming off of his best season with the Buffalo Bills where he had 431 yards and three touchdowns. He is still a young player with room to grow and should help fill the deep threat hole left by Torrey Smith. The rest of the wide receiver depth chart is generally young and unproven.
The tight end situation should look very similar to last season but with a bit more experience. Breakout performer Vance McDonald earned a nice bump in salary as he led the 49ers in receiving touchdowns with four, all of which seemed so important on a team that really struggled to score through the air. He is now the seventh highest http://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-ahmad-brooks-jersey-c-1_4.html paid player on the roster. Garrett Celek will also remain on the team who had the third most receptions and fourth most yards among receivers. Blake Bell will look to grow in his second year and backup Logan Paulsen was added in free agency as insurance.
The receiving core seems improved from last year, which isn’t saying much. However, I expect the 49ers to add a playmaking receiver as early as the second round in the upcoming draft. There is no receiver truly worth selecting at second overall so unless they wanted to trade down, which general manger John Lynch has said he is open to, the 49ers will likely wait until the early second round to add another weapon for Brian Hoyer. Top wide receivers John Ross (Washington) or Mike Williams (Clemson) could very possibly fall to the early second round where San Francisco could snag them for a great pickup. If not Curtis Samuel (Ohio State) or Chris Godwin (Penn State) could be sneaky picks if chosen instead. The 49ers do not have a need for a tight end in the draft since signing Paulsen so there is little reason to believe that they might add one.

Does Solomon Thomas fit with 49ers at No. 2 in NFL draft?
Solomon Thomas is a hot name getting pegged to the 49ers and their second-overall pick in the upcoming NFL draft.
The Stanford defensive<a href="http://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-arik-armstead-jersey-c-1_7.html">Arik Armstead Jersey</a> lineman might be the second best prospect available with Myles Garrett expected to go first to Cleveland. But if San Francisco taps Thomas, it wouldn’t be a seamless fit.
That’s because the 49ers used first-round selections in the previous two drafts on defensive linemen Arik Armstead and DeForest Buckner, who were picked to play in the team’s 3-4 front. San Francisco in 2017 is transitioning to a Seahawks-like 4-3 that uses 3-4 personnel, which Armstead and Buckner should excel in.
Thomas played in a 3-4 at Stanford, tasked with disrupting opposing offenses from the interior against guards, much like Armstead and Buckner during their college careers at Oregon. Thomas is redundant, which might not necessarily be a bad thing. Depth is good.
The question becomes, if the 49ers think Thomas is the best pick at No. 2, how does he fit with those other two? And if the fit is questionable, is he skilled enough to transcend it and allow San Francisco to worry about the fit later?
Thomas is a tweener who might not have the length and explosion to consistently pressure the quarterback along the edge. He’s 6-foot-3 and 273 pounds with 33-inch arms, which isn’t prototypical of a pass rusher going against offensive tackle – particularly a pass rusher drafted second overall. San Francisco’s right tackle Trent Brown, for example, has 36-inch arms and would be able to get his hands on Thomas before Thomas could reach Brown.
But Thomas is also some 20 pounds lighter<a href="http://www.authenticbillsstore.com/shop-by-players-charles-clay-jersey-c-1_8.html">Charles Clay Womens Jersey</a> than most interior defensive tackles in a 4-3, which would indicate he’d have to gain to weight to play against the run in base – making it less likely he could rush from the edge. J.J. Watt, for instance, can play all four spots along a defensive line. But he entered the league at 290 pounds in 2011.
Thomas realistically plays the same position as Armstead, which would be as a three- or five-technique along the interior, allowing longer, more natural pass rushers like Aaron Lynch and Ahmad Brooks to play the ‘Leo’ and ‘Sam’ positions on the edges. Buckner figures to be an every-down player if the team added Thomas or not.
The 4-3 over defensive front in base would look similar to the 3-4 front the team has run the better part of the last decade. For now, it would likely look like this:
Base:
Leo: Aaron Lynch (Tank Carradine)
DT: Arik Armstead (Solomon Thomas?)
DT: Earl Mitchell (Quinton Dial)
DE: DeForest Buckner
Sam: Ahmad Brooks (Eli Harold)
Sub:
DE: Lynch (Carradine)
DT: Armstead (Thomas?)
DT: Buckner (Dial)
DE: Brooks (Harold)
Thomas projects to be a three-down player, which <a href="http://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-brandon-marshall-jersey-c-1_27.html">http://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-brandon-marshall-jersey-c-1_27.html</a> means the 49ers would have to figure out if Armstead is worth having in a part-time, pass-rushing role, or if he has more value on the trade market to a team that runs his natural 3-4.
New general manager John Lynch ultimately has to build the best roster for the long haul. Drafting for need, and not taking the best player available, can often lead to mistakes. A need is defined as a snapshot in time and could change with an injury during a practice or a free agent addition. Also, a need could always be addressed later in the draft.
Having too many disruptive players along the defensive line is never a bad thing. But the 49ers need help up and down the roster. They have holes at quarterback, free safety, receiver, linebacker, and edge pass rusher, which would be more prudent after the team took Armstead and Buckner the last two years.
San Francisco’s roster isn’t ripe for a<a href="http://www.authenticsaintsshop.com/shop-by-players-drew-brees-jersey-c-1_14.html">http://www.authenticsaintsshop.com/shop-by-players-drew-brees-jersey-c-1_14.html</a> luxury pick, like Thomas, to add depth to a position that already has talent. Unless, perhaps, if Armstead is traded.
Like the Rams in recent seasons, there’s long-term risk in investing valuable first-round selections in the same position group. The 49ers shouldn’t neglect other areas on the roster – unless they can ensure Thomas would be an every-down player.

Former Bills WR Andre Reed says Sammy Watkins can be special if healthy
As the Buffalo Bills’ most distinguished <a href="http://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-18-peyton-manning-jersey-c-1_8.html">18 Peyton Manning Authentic Jersey</a> receiver and one of the best pass catchers in NFL history, Andre Reed said his former team has something special in Fort Myers native Sammy Watkins.
“There’s no doubt about it – if Sammy is 100 percent, he’s one of the top five receivers in the league,” Reed said.
The problem, Reed said before speaking at the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County’s Youth of the Year Celebration on Tuesday in Naples, is that Watkins hasn’t been 100 percent very often. Watkins, a 2011 graduate of South Fort Myers High School, has missed 11 games the past two seasons with various injuries.
If Watkins can finally play healthy – even as a rookie in 2014, his only full pro season, Watkins battled through rib injuries – Reed thinks the current Bills receiver can have success similar to what the former had.
“He has all the physical attributes,” Reed said. “Sammy is a great athlete, a great player. It’s just unfortunate he’s really only had one full season. Hopefully things turn around for him.”
NFL: Vikings' Alexander leads locals into training camp
Reed, who played 15 seasons in Buffalo, was<a href="http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-dj-fluker-jersey-c-1_12.html">Dj Fluker Authentic Jersey</a> in Naples to support a cause bigger than Bills football. Wearing his gold Pro Football Hall of Fame jacket from the Class of 2014, Reed wanted to support an organization that he credits for making him successful in life.
Growing up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Reed spent nearly every day at the Boys & Girls Club. Since retiring from the NFL in 2000, Reed has spoken at many Boys & Girls Clubs around the country to raise funds and support for the cause.
The Collier County chapter’s fifth annual Youth of the Year Celebration was at Artis–Naples. On Monday, Reed spoke to a group of local Boys & Girls Club kids at the Naples facility.
Reed also is a member of the Boys & Girls Club of America Alumni Hall of Fame. The Andre Reed Foundation was established in 2010 to support underprivileged children, and one of the beneficiaries is the Boys & Girls Club.
Following its 2013 charity golf tournament, Reed’s foundation donated $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Allentown.
“Everybody here, they have their own story,” Reed said before Tuesday’s event. “My story may be different, but we all have the same foundation. You need the same values, the same people in your corner patting you on the back or smacking<a href="http://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-bob-lilly-jersey-c-2_60.html">http://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-bob-lilly-jersey-c-2_60.html</a> you on the back when you’re not doing good. The Boys & Girls Club reinforces that.”
NFL: Carolina's Boston, Atlanta's De'Vondre Campbell overcoming the Super Bowl blues
As Reed wishes the best for Watkins, he also hopes the Bills can return to the glory days of his time in Buffalo.
Drafted in 1985, Reed was the leading receiver as the Bills went to four straight Super Bowls from 1991-95. Reed is 53 years old, yet Buffalo hasn’t made the playoffs since his final year there. His last game was the Musical City Miracle, when the Titans beat the Bills following a lateral pass on a kickoff with three seconds left.
Buffalo famously lost all four Super Bowls in the 1990s. Following the 1990 season, the Bills lost Super Bowl XXV, 20-19 to the New York Giants, when Scott Norwood’s 47-yard field goal went wide right as time expired.
In this year’s Super Bowl, the Atlanta Falcons suffered a comparably crushing defeat. The Falcons led by 25 points in the third quarter before the New England Patriots charged back to win in overtime.
“You never get over it,” Reed said of losing in the Super Bowl. “It’s been years and years and years after our four Super Bowls, and I still want<a href="http://www.authenticcowboysstore.com/shop-by-players-daryl-johnston-jersey-c-2_52.html">http://www.authenticcowboysstore.com/shop-by-players-daryl-johnston-jersey-c-2_52.html</a> to win one. Your whole focus is to get to the Super Bowl and win a championship. That’s what you play the game for.”

Broncos tender Todd Davis, Matt Paradis and several others
The Broncos issued a slew of tenders to Michael Hoomanawanui Womens Jersey their restricted and exclusive rights free agents on Tuesday.
The team confirmed that they tendered kicker Brandon McManus in a release announcing moves involving 10 players overall. McManus received a second-round tender as a restricted free agent and, per multiple reports, so did linebacker Todd Davis.
Davis started 15 games for Denver last season and ended the year with 97 tackles, a half-sack and a forced fumble. Saints closing in on deal with linebacker Manti Te'o: source
The New Orleans Saints are apparently not content Deion Sanders Womens Jersey with keeping the status quo at the linebacker position.
The Saints are close to signing free-agent linebacker Manti Te'o, a source familiar with the discussions confirmed Monday afternoon.
ESPN's Dan Graziano first reported the news, while adding a deal could be accomplished Tuesday.
The Saints hosted Te'o on a visit early in free agency, but the former Los Angeles Chargers linebacker left without signing a deal.
Te'o, 26, entered the league in 2013 out of Notre http://www.authenticcowboysstore.com/shop-by-players-keith-smith-jersey-c-2_68.html Dame as a second-round pick (38th overall) of the Chargers.
The 6-1, 241-pound Te'o, a native of Hawaii, has appeared in 38 career games (34 starts) over four seasons and totaled 233 tackles (160 solo), 1 1/2 sacks, two interceptions, nine passes defensed and a forced fumble in that span.
The Saints' current linebacker corps consists of A.J. Klein Craig Robertson, Stephone Anthony, Dannell Ellerbe, Nate Stupar, Hau'oli Kikaha, Travis Feeney, Roycehttp://www.authenticnflraidersshop.com/shop-by-players-rodney-hudson-jersey-c-2_9.html LaFrance and Adam Bighill.
Klein, who spent four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, joined the Saints on a three-year deal on the first day of free agency.

How the Tennessee Titans Can Still Find Quality Wide Receiver Help
Its no secret that many fans were upset when the cream of the crop wide receivers came and went to other teams around the league. Understandably so. The Tennessee Titans do have a need, plenty of cap space, and the looksJimmie Ward Authentic Jersey of being ready to take that next step and be a real contender.
Don’t panic yet though. There are still options out there through free agency, the draft, and don’t forget about trade options that could become available. Right now, we have to trust that Jon Robinson knows best — he has earned that. It’s all about balancing budget and production. What I mean by that is: would you rather have a receiver make $12-$14 million a year and catch 90 balls for 1500 yards, or a receiver who makes $3-$5 million a year who catches 60 balls for 900 some odd yards? Let’s take a look at some of the options left available for the Titans at this point.
Mike Williams is considered by most scouts to be the best receiver in this year’s draft class. He has size, speed, he runs solid routes, and does a nice job adjusting to the football. He ate up Alabama and Ohio State’s defenses in the college football playoffs. With pick number five overall in this year’s draft, the Titans will have a shot to get him and it’s also possible he falls to them at 18th overall as well.
Although he isn’t as big as Mike Williams, some scouts have Corey Davis ranked ahead of him. He has a nice size, speed combo going for him. Davis is an advanced route runner and he’s dangerous after the catch as well. He would probably be better suited to pick up at 18th overall instead of fifth.
John Ross is a true burner. He broke Chris Johnson’s 40 yard dash record at the NFL combine, so he can certainly take the lid off a defense. I’ve seen comparisons to Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City Chiefs and Brandin Cooks of the New EnglandLeSean McCoy Authentic Jersey Patriots. He can also make some big plays on special teams, which again the Titans love. His only downfall is his size. At 5’11” and 190lbs, he’s better suited to play in the slot than as a number one receiver. Which makes me question his health. Slot receivers typically work the middle of the field where those big linebackers play. With his small frame, I question if he could stay healthy for a full sixteen game season.
Noah Brown is what a person would describe as an athletic freak and he could fall to the Titans in round 3. He can make those spectacular catches and he knows how to use his big bodied frame as well. I would like to see more explosion from him off the line of scrimmage though.
Chad Hansen could be another target the Titans go after in round 3. He has good size and with some time he could develop into a true number one in the league. I could see him as a rotational player or a decent number two option. He runs good routes, but I would like to see him run some different routes.
Chris Godwin has really raised his stock over the last few months. At 6’1&#8243;, he has some size to him, but he also has good speed. Its likely he goeshttp://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-jeff-heuerman-jersey-c-1_14.html in round 2, but with so much depth at so many other positions it’s possible he slips into round 3.
Like Chris Godwin, Malachi Dupre is a second round talent who could slip into round three. As a Titans fan watching scouting videos on Dupre I couldn’t help but notice so many similarities to Justin Hunter. A more well rounded, explosive Justin Hunter. He has that tall slim build to him, but he is explosive off the line of scrimmage, gets involved in the run blocking game, and he can really stretch the defense.
So, my fellow Titan fans, this is no time to panic. There are still some options out there to bring in and we still have Delanie Walker, Rishard Matthews, and Tajae Sharpe (whom I expect to improve headeing into year two of his career) catchinghttp://www.authenticsaintsshop.com/shop-by-players-nate-stupar-jersey-c-1_34.html passes for us. We also have a backfield of DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry, and Marcus Mariota in a run first football scheme.

Since NFL free agency opened on March 9, nearly 200 players have gotten new contracts, including 16 from Alabama high schools and colleges, in the so-called "first wave" of signings. Here's a look at the deals signed by the state's free agents.
Square re-signed with the Chargers for a two-year, $4,000,000 contract that included a $1,225,000 signing bonus and a $775,000 base salary for the 2017 season.
Square was a starter for Alabama's BCS national-championship teams of 2011 and 2012, and he made the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted rookie.
After Square played in 10 games in 2013, the Eagles released him at the end of training camp in 2014. The Kansas City Chiefs picked up the defensive lineman, but Square never got in a game with Kansas City before being released on Oct. 31, 2014.
