AFC Draft capsules
LAST SEASON: Chargers have won only nine games in two seasons, and now must try to stand out in crowded and competitive Los Angeles market after leaving San Diego because voters refused to help fund new stadium. Coach Mike McCoy wasCustomized Womens Jersey fired and replaced with Anthony Lynn from Buffalo Bills. There were few bright spots in 2016, such as DE Joey Bosa winning Defensive Rookie of Year Award and RB Melvin Gordon rebounding from miserable rookie season. But there are still problems on offensive line, and stars such as WR Keenan Allen and CB Jason Verrett can’t stay healthy.
THEY NEED: S, WR, DL, OL, QB
THEY DON’T NEED: TE, CB, K, P.
POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: S Malik Hooker, Ohio State; S Jamal Adams, LSU.
OUTLOOK: Noting that Rivers is getting “long in the tooth,” Lynn said he’d like GM Tom Telesco to draft quarterback so he can learn under Rivers, who is under contract through 2019. “Philip is the ultimate pro in my opinion,” Lynn said. “We have a good situation for a young quarterback that doesn’t have to come in and play right now. He can sit, watch.” Said Rivers: “We’re going to at some point. I’m not going to be here forever. ... I certainly don’t fear that day when that comes whatsoever. I don’t take it as my role, ‘Oh, we drafted a young guy, your eventual replacement so get him ready.’ But at the same time I enjoy sharing both things I’ve learned and letting the young guy see how I’ve done things. At the same time, shoot, I’m always going to compete. All of us have to compete and never feel comfortable. Should this be the year there’s a young guy in here, he’ll come in here and be in what I would think would be a pretty good situation.”
20. DENVER BRONCOS (9-7)
LAST SEASON: For first time since John Elway returned as GM in 2011, Broncos failed to reach playoffs last season. He found himself conductingHeath Miller Authentic Jersey his third search for head coach after Gary Kubiak stepped down over health concerns just two years into job. Elway hired Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, who promoted secondary coach Joe Woods to replace D-coordinator Wade Phillips, and hired ex-Chargers head coach Mike McCoy to run offense. After dominating AFC West with five consecutive titles, Broncos slipped behind Chiefs and Raiders following Peyton Manning’s retirement. DeMarcus Ware retired this year but Denver is still loaded on defense. They have to fix offense that was inept much of last season.
THEY NEED: OT, LB, CB, RB, TE, WR, KR.
THEY DON’T NEED: C, QB, K, P, G, S.
POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: S Jabrill Peppers, Michigan; LT Garett Bolles, Utah; LT Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin; RB Christian McCaffrey, Stanford.
OUTLOOK: Elway whiffed on attempts to sign DT Earl Mitchell and DE Calais Campbell in free agency. But he did address run defense with additions of Domata Peko and Zach Kerr. On offense, he jettisoned LT Russell Okung and added some nastiness to O-line by signing free agents Ron Leary and Menelik Watson. Elway could land left tackle in first round but this draft is so deep on defense it wouldn’t be surprising if he scraps plans and grabs another highly rated defender like when Bradley Roby and Shane Ray slipped down in previous drafts.
24. OAKLAND RAIDERS (12-5)
LAST SEASON: Raiders ended 13-yearhttp://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-bud-dupree-jersey-c-2_65.html playoff drought behind strong play of QB Derek Carr and DE Khalil Mack. Broken leg for Carr in penultimate game of regular season cost Oakland chance at division title and sent Raiders home early with first-round playoff loss at Houston. But there was enough progress before that for team to build on heading into 2017.
THEY NEED: CB, LB, RB, DT.
THEY DON’T NEED: QB, OL.
POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: LB Jarrad Davis, Florida; LB Zach Cunningham, Vanderbilt; CB Marlon Humphrey, Alabama.
OUTLOOK: GM Reggie McKenzie has been mostly quiet this offseason, with most notable additions being TE Jared Cook, OL Marshall Newhouse and WR-KR Cordarrelle Patterson. Raiders have done little to address deficiencies on defense, which will likely be focus in draft. Top need will be finding linebacker who can shore up run defense and not be exploited in coverage. Improving interior pass rush and finding slot cornerback also will be high priority. One big need on offense is at running back, where starter Latavius Murray left in free agency and has not been replaced.
27. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (12-5)
LAST SEASON: Chiefs won AFC West for first time since 2010, then were dumped by Pittsburgh in divisional round of playoffs. Coach Andy Reid and GM John Dorsey shelled out big money in offseason to keep SS Eric Berry and solidify other spots, but salary cap problems mean they will turn to draft to fill in rest of holes. Chiefs believe they have window to compete for Super Bowl in next couple years, so look for Reid and Dorsey to seek immediate help.
THEY NEED: RB, LB, WR, CB, OL, QB.
THEY DON’T NEED: TE, DL, FB, S.
POSSIBLE FIRST PICK: LB Zach Cunningham, Vanderbilt; RB Christian McCaffrey, Stanford; WR Zay Jones, East Carolina; QB Pat Mahomes, Texas Tech; CB Kevin King, Washington; LB Jarrad Davis, Florida.
OUTLOOK: Chiefs desperately need more playmakers after WR Jeremy Maclin underperformed last season. McCaffrey is ideal pass-catching RB for Reid’s modified West Coast offense, while Jones would give Chiefs vertical threat they haven’t had in years. But Chiefs also need potential replacement for LB Derrick Johnson, coming offhttp://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-27-winston-guy-jersey-c-1_15.html second Achilles tendon surgery and nearing end of his career, though that may be available for Kansas City in later rounds. Dorsey and Reid have shown willingness to trade down, so that may be option if top targets are off board, but Chiefs have 10 selections and are prime candidates to move up this year.

Mailbag: Working On A Deal With Zack Martin? Biggest Draft Bust?
CHRIS KEATING
MASON, TX
With the release of Tony Romo, the Cowboys Casey Hayward Jersey now have a pretty significant amount of available cap space. Wouldn't it make sense to take advantage of the situation and sign Zack Martin to a contract with a large first year salary instead of a signing bonus? That way, he wouldn't count against the salary cap with dead money in future years and he would get the same amount of money.
Bryan: I am not going to pretend I know how they're going to structure Zack Martin's contract. They have a plan how they want to do it and I will wait to see how that unfolds.
David: I understand what you’re saying, but Rhett Ellison Authentic Jersey if I had to guess, I think they’ll give Martin a back-loaded contract structure, like they did with Tyron Smith and Travis Frederick. I think that’s for two reasons. Firstly, it gives them a way to free up money against the salary cap in the future – should they need to. Second, they don’t see it as a long-term risk, because of their players’ durability. Martin has yet to miss an NFL game and is the model of consistency, which makes it much more palatable to move his money around than it would with another player.
GARY DAVIS
FRESNO, CA
In your tenures with the Cowboys, which http://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-shamar-stephen-jersey-c-2_21.html draft pick was the biggest bust or most disappointing in your opinion?
Bryan: In the 2003 NFL Draft we took Wisconsin center Al Johnson with the 38th overall pick. I want to say he played 31 or so games for us? That's a terrible selection to make for that number of games.
David: I’ve only been here for a handful of years, and I know there are plenty of busts to look back on. But any list of disappointing Cowboys draft picks is – unfortunately – going to have to include Morris Claiborne. It’s not just that the Cowboys drafted him No. 6 overall, but they also traded up from No. 14 and gave away a second-round pick in the process. Claiborne is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever worked with, but hehttp://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-garrett-celek-jersey-c-1_21.html appeared in just 48 of 83 possible games over five years in Dallas. He finished his career here with four total interceptions. Not a great return on the investment.

Marquette King warns Odell Beckham Jr. of Week 13 trolling
Marquette King has identified his next victim, and he just so happens to be one of the most electric characters in the NFL.
After the 2017 regular-season schedulesJahri Evans Youth Jersey dropped on Thursday, the Oakland Raiders punter tweeted at New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to warn him of the trolling coming his way in Week 13.
The Oakland Raiders are gearing up for the 2017 NFL Draft. Want the latest on potential targets sent straight to your inbox? – Sign up for our FREE Raiders newsletter now!
King is a ruthless troll, and his antics went viral multiple times last season. He mocked the Ray Lewis dance at M&T Bank Stadium during a Jack Ham Womens Jersey win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4. He rode an imaginary pony in front of a roaring crowd at the Oakland Coliseum, while the Raiders were whooping the Denver Broncos in Week 9.
In a Week 13 matchup with the Buffalo Bills, King turned his trolling to the officials, picked up a flag and used it as a prop to help accentuate a celebratory dance. A week later, he got into a heated exchange with Kansas City Chiefs tighthttp://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-cody-wallace-jersey-c-2_30.html end Travis Kelce. Both incidents resulted in King being penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Beckham is known for his emotional instability, as his one-on-one battles with former Carolina Panthers and current Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman have highlighted his propensity for losing his cool. King may try to exploit http://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-32-tj-green-jersey-c-1_18.html that when the Raiders and Giants play each other in 2017.
King would be wise to tread lightly, though. You never know when OBJ will take one of his patented slant patterns to the house.

Hopes are high for a noticeably bigger DeForest Buckner
SANTA CLARA — DeForest Buckner greeted the media Monday afternoon in the Levi’s Stadium auditorium. He leaned into the podium and put passion into his answers.
The No. 7 overall pick in last year’s draft, BucknerBranden Oliver Authentic Jersey is grasping the nuances of being a professional — and by many measurements, he’s heading in the direction of becoming the next NaVorro Bowman and Joe Staley type of pillar the 49ers will lean upon for years. The evidence was littered all throughout his press conference.
We’ll get to that part in a minute, but as of early April, hopes are rising for the 6-foot-7, 300-pounder. The 49ers may actually have to update his weight total on their official website. Buckner’s arms, as the kids say, were yoked. Buckner arrived back in town three weeks early, and head strength and conditioning coach Ray Wright has been kicking his ass in the weight room.
“He’s going to get our team right,” Buckner said. “I feel a lot stronger this year compared to last year. Hopefully I’m gaining a little bit of that grown man strength.”
A more imposing Buckner coupled with his Stefon Diggs Authentic Jersey newfangled leadership skills are very encouraging thoughts for 49ers fans. Buckner’s using his relationship with Seattle’s Michael Bennett to bring Ronald Blair, Eli Harold and Arik Armstead to Hawaii this July for workouts and film sessions. Buckner explained to the media how much better he’s gotten at watching film since he entered the NFL, changing some of his own habits and also picking up tendencies from opposing teams.
He also said he feels like he’s earned the right to bark at his teammates, when necessary.
“We have to set a standard and if a guy isn’t doing it right, we have to call him out on it,” Buckner said. “I’d like to think I got a little respect from last year. A lot of guys come to me and say, ‘That’s your guy. You should talk to him more.’ Just seeing the respect I gained from my teammates saying I should call out guys more. It’s a thing that I have to do.”
The respect thing from the locker room is absolutely true. Buckner is growing up quickly in a league that weeds out top 10 picks year after year. That type of growth will happen when you’re arguably the most consistent player on your defense as a rookie. Buckner flashed consistency as a pass rusher with six sacks in a flawed scheme repeatedly exposed by offensive coordinators.
Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh indicated to Buckner that he’ll mostly play the big defensive end (3-Tech) in this system, which is modeled after Seattle’s one-high safety scheme. It’s more of a one-gap, control defense, where Bucknerhttp://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-harrison-smith-jersey-c-2_15.html will be able to attack a specific area on the offensive line at a higher rate.
“Now I’m not two-gapping, I’m not holding onto blocks, more avoiding them now,” Buckner explained. “I’m excited about that. Not having to hold off a 300-pound man for two seconds and shedding and all that stuff. So, it’s going to be more exciting.”
Obviously, Buckner’s production will heavily rely upon his teammates. Free agent acquisition Earl Mitchell is expected to plug the middle, Armstead will slide all over the place, and Saleh revealed Aaron Lynch will be lining up with his hand in the dirt at defensive end. Blair, Chris Jones and Quinton Dial will fight for time in the rotation. A majority of mock drafts are linking the 49ers to Stanford defensive lineman Solomon Thomas and in my personal opinion, Alabama’s Jonathan Allen had the best tape of any player in the draft. A later round pick and an undrafted gem could emerge in training camp.
Can Buckner become a consistent 10-sack player in this defense? Why the hell not? Sophomore slumps can be a real thing in the NFL, but with greater attention paid to chasing quarterbacks, San Francisco’s coaching staff is openly trying to put Buckner in a better position to succeed.
For all the Trent Baalke and Chip Kelly bashing that’s gone on, the former power players in Santa Clara left the 49ers with a parting gift full of potential. You could count the bright spots on one hand last season. But without question, Buckner http://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-garrett-celek-jersey-c-1_21.html was one of them. And he’s ready to go from bright spot to building block — should the cards fall in his direction.
“Even during the year everybody knew it was unacceptable. Nobody wants to be mentioned as the 32nd team in the league,” Buckner said. “Everybody’s ready to kind of redeem themselves from last year.”

Is Gerald Hodges a viable linebacker option for Packers?
Gerald Hodges is currently a free agent Jahri Evans Youth Jersey after spending the last two seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He was able to have his best season in 2016, posting 83 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.
So would Hodges, who can play inside or outside linebacker, be a good fit for the Green Bay Packers?
Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report released his list of the one bargain player each team should pursue and the he believes the Packers shouldhttp://www.authenticsteelerssale.com/shop-by-players-cody-wallace-jersey-c-2_30.html go after Hodges. Here's a look at what Davenport had to say about the Packers chances of signing the former 49er.
The Packers are now in the offseason and there’s a lot of work to be done to get ready for next season. Make sure you’re in the loop – take five seconds to Sign up for our FREE Packers newsletter now!
Davenport also said that the Packers will likely draft a linebacker and not sign Hodges. Thompson normally goes after guys like Hodges, but thehttp://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-darrius-heywardbey-jersey-c-2_42.html Packers believe Ryan and Martinez will get better and if a guy like T.J. Watt is available for the Packers in the draft, they will likely select him than bring in Hodges on the cheap.

His job was to protect students, but he sexually assaulted them instead
A former Moss Point High School campus police officer will serve 20 years in prison day-for-day for sexually assaulting one of the studentsJohnny Unitas Womens Jersey he was supposed to protecting.
A jury last week convicted Kevin Sylvester Williams on charges of touching of a child for lustful purposes and sexual battery, all while in a position of trust or authority.
Judge Kathy King Jackson sentenced Williams to 30 years in prison, with 20 years to serve day-for-day and the remainder on post-release supervision on a sexual battery charge. She sentenced him to 15 years on the touching charge, but the two sentences will run concurrently, leaving Williams 20 years to serve day-for-day.
The judge fined Williams a total of $5,000 and Danny Woodhead Womens Jersey ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
She was a teen
The victim was a sophomore at Moss Point High at the time of 2009 crimes.
She said Williams had a habit of making sexually inappropriate comments to students. And she said Williams often called her out of class to his office and touched her breasts and buttocks.
He had sex with her after he drove her to a home off Mississippi 57. He gave her $200 afterward.
Suspicions rise
In trial testimony, one teacher said she became suspicious of Williams because he kept calling students out of class. She reported her concerns, but Williams remained on the job.
The victims in two other pending cases also testified.
One of the victims was a student at Colmer Middle http://www.officialvikingshop.com/shop-by-players-anthony-barr-jersey-c-2_9.html School at the time of the crime, police said. The girl told authorities Williams would drive to her school and was in uniform when he would check her out of class. From there, the girl said, Williams drove her to his mother’s house and sexually assaulted her.
Williams claimed he had gotten the child out of class because she had soiled herself. Williams denied any wrongdoing.
Preying on young girls
“As a campus police officer, this defendant was tasked with the responsibility of keeping the children of the Moss Point school system safe,” Assistant District Attorney George Huffman said. “He chose to ignore that responsibility and instead used his position to prey on young girls.”
Assistant District Attorney Shon Ellerby added: “This effectively ends his ability to harm any other child.”
District Attorney Tony Lawrence said Williams simply “abused his position as a police officer, school security officer, father and stepfather.”
“He violated the oaths a security officer, as a law enforcement http://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-harrison-smith-jersey-c-2_15.html officer and his role as a father,” Lawrence added. “Twenty years day-for-day shows no one is above the law. If you harm children, no matter who you are, you will be held accountable.”

What If Cowboys' 2017 First-Round Pick Is A Travis Frederick-Level "Reach"?
The Cowboys were widely ridiculed for picking Travis Frederick in 2013, not necessarily because Frederick was viewed as a bad player, but becauseTyrone Crawford Womens Jersey it was felt he would have been available much later in the draft.
Dan Kadar, SB Nation's draft guru, gave the Cowboys a prescient A+ grade for the Fredrick pick at the time, but even he talked of a reach.
Most post-draft grades were not as kind, with the majority of comments calling the Frederick pick a reach, as virtually nobody had expected Frederick to be a first-round pick.
Scouts Inc., the guys providing the prospect rankings for ESPN, had Frederick at No. 70.
Mel Kiper had Frederick at No. 87 on his draft board.
On Mike Mayock’s list of the top 100 prospects in the draft, Frederick checked in at No. 92.
Matt Miller of Bleacher Report had Fredrick as the last player on his 100-player strong big board.
But it wasn't just draft analysts panning the Frederick pick. Here's Pro Football Talk's take at the time.
A day after the draft, ESPN Dallas reported that Travis Frederick was the No. 22 player on the Cowboys board, a claim that was met with much incredulity at the time. It wasn't until the Cowboys' 2013 draft board was inadvertently leaked almost a month later (and transcribed by my good friend rabblerousr) that the Cowboys' claim Chuck Howley Youth Jersey was proven right: Travis Frederick was the 22nd-ranked player on a draft board that had 19 players with a first-round grade.
Travis Frederick meanwhile has been to three Pro Bowls, has made second-team All Pro twice, first-team All Pro once, and the Cowboys made him the highest paid center in the NFL last year.
Just because some draft analyst or over-eager Twitter scout ranks a player lower than where he was picked doesn't automatically make the pick a reach.
The Cowboys pay their scouts to find players that will fit their system, and those scouts put in way more work into the evaluation process than any draft analyst out there.
And that process will inevitably result in a draft board that differs from the many draft boards published in the lead-up to the draft.
NFL fans constantly ask their teams to "follow their draft board." But what if following the draft board results in the team drafting a player that public perception had ranked much lower?
"REACH!"
Sitting where they are at the bottom of the first round, the Cowboys would be happy to see a player with a first-round grade fall their way. But if that doesn't happen, they'll pick one of the highest-graded players remaining on their board, even if that player might have "only" a second-round grade - and even if that player may be ranked much lower elsewhere.
Just going off their list of official pre-draft visitors, whathttp://www.authenticraiderssale.com/shop-by-players-perry-riley-jersey-c-2_15.html if the Cowboys make a player like DE Tyus Bowser their top pick, even if many see him as a second-round prospect, and some might not even know who he is? Or if they take a CB like Chidobwe Awuzie or Fabian Moreau with their top pick, players that not many are expecting to be taken in the first round?
Would you be able to keep your cool and "trust the process"?
Perhaps not. But keep in mind that every year we'll see a wide range of assessments of draft classes. Some of them will offer a reasonable assessment of a given team's draft, others offer a much more radical take penned by authors clawing and scratching for relevance, who often have no particular football expertise, and have nothing but snarky commentary and click-generating headlines to offer.
If the Cowboys pull another Frederick, recent http://www.authenticsaintsshop.com/shop-by-players-john-jenkins-jersey-c-1_21.html history suggests that the perennial nattering nabobs of negativism will fall all over each other proclaiming the pick another reach by the Cowboys, only to change their tune as soon as they publish their first re-draft of the 2017 NFL draft.

The top NFL draft surprises and busts in TCU history
With the 2017 NFL draft happening on Thursday, TCU has seen its fair share of former athletes drafted and play in the league. While someDan Mccullers Womens Jersey have gone on and made a big impact in the sport and have become huge playmakers on and off the field, others didn’t have quite that success. Either through injury, criminal reasons or performance, they never quite reached the NFL standard.
Here’s a look at TCU’s top three biggest draft surprises and busts:
Surprises
LaDainian Tomlinson: When someone thinks of TCU football, L.T. easily comes to mind. In his time at TCU, Tomlinson helped the Frogs win their first bowl game, set a NCAA FBS record for most rushing yards in a single game, won the Doak Walker Award as the nation's best running back and was a finalist for the 2000 Heisman Trophy. When he finished his collegiate career, he was ranked sixth in NCAA Division I history with 5,263 rushing yards.
And his success kept going when he made the pros. Tomlinson was drafted as the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. Tomlinson spent nine seasons with the Chargers before playing his final two seasons withDavid Decastro Womens Jersey the New York Jets. Before he ended his 11-year career, he was selected to five Pro Bowls, was an All-Pro six times, and won two rushing titles (2006 and 2007). When he retired he ranked fifth in career rushing yards (13,684), seventh in all-purpose yards (18,456), second in career rushing touchdowns (145), and third in total touchdowns (162).
Andy Dalton: Andy Dalton is another former Frog who shaped and molded TCU into the football program it is today. After redshirting his freshman year, Dalton came back to lead TCU to an 11-2 season his sophomore year, a perfect regular season his junior year and finished it out with an undefeated season his senior year. Dalton held school career records for wins (42), passing yards (10,314), pass attempts (1,317), completions (812), and completion percentage (61.6) until Trevone Boykin surpassed him.
Dalton is one of six quarterbacks in NFL history to have thrown for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons. He is also one of only five quarterbacks to have passed for at least 20 touchdowns in each of his first three seasons. He is also the only quarterback to lead the Bengals to four consecutive playoff berths, and one of five quarterbacks to lead his team to the playoffs in each of his first four seasons.
Dalton continues to give back to TCU and frequently visits coach Patterson and his players.
Jerry Hughes: Hughes demonstrated success early on during his time at TCU. He was one of four true freshmen to start in 2006. He played in all 13 games as a sophomore, recording at least one tackle in each game. But, he took over as a full-time starter his junior year. That season he recorded 15 sacks, 18.5 tackles for a loss, 6 forced fumbles, 2 interceptions and returned one of those picks for a touchdown. He led the nation with his 15 sacks. Senior year he turned up the momentum again, tallying a career-high 54 tackles and 11.5 sacks. Hughes was recognized as a unanimous first-team All-American.
Hughes was selected 31st overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2010 NFL draft. He was the first Horned Frog selected in the first round since Tomlinson. He was also the first TCU defensive player selected in the first round since Bob Lilly, who was selected 13th overall by the Dallas Cowboys in 1961. During Hughes’ rookiehttp://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-21-vontae-davis-jersey-c-1_11.html season, he appeared in 12 games making six tackles. Hughes was traded to the Bills in 2013 and finished his first season by making 46 tackles, 10 sacks and two forced fumbles in 16 games with one start. In 2015, the Bills and Hughes agreed to a five-year contract worth at least $45 million.
Busts
Trevone Boykin: Boykin brought back the spark in Horned Frog football. In 2014 as the starting quarterback, Boykin passed for 3,901 yards and threw 33 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, while also rushing for an additional 707 yards and 8 touchdowns. He led the Frogs to a #3 ranking and a 12-1 record. That season he also finished in 4th place in the 2014 Heisman Trophy voting. In 2015, Boykin returned as the starter and passed for 3,575 yards with 31 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Boykin had the potential to be a high pick for TCU in the draft. However, the night before his senior bowl game, Boykin was arrested for punching a cop outside of a bar in San Antonio. While he managed to sign with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent, Boykin could have been drafted higher and had the potential to sign with anyone.
Daryl Washington: Washington was selected 47th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2010 NFL draft. He made the Pro Bowl and was named a second-team All-Pro in 2012 after making 134 tackles with an interception and two forced fumbles for the Arizona Cardinals. But, three seasons of substance-abuse violations and a guilty plea to an aggravated assault charge led to Washington being suspended indefinitely. While he is making a case to be reinstated, the odds don’t look to be in his favor.
Aaron Brown: As a freshman he ran for 163 yards in a nationally televised game against Utah. On the year, he rushed for 758 yards and six touchdowns, as well as three receiving touchdowns. His efforts helped the Frogs win the Mountain West Conference championship and he was named MWC Freshman of the Year.
He was drafted 192nd overall in the 6th round by the Detroit Lions in the 2009 NFL Draft. During his first NFL preseason game, Brown scored http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-dexter-mccoil-jersey-c-1_18.html two touchdowns. However, on September 4, 2011, he was waived by the Lions. He was re-signed on November 28 and released again on December 27. Brown later signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in February 2012, but was once again waived in August 2012.

Newsletter Hot Property: Inside the celebrity housing orb
Though Los Angeles employers are concerned that high housing costs are an obstacle to hiring top talent, the Southern California celebrity sphereDonnie Shell Youth Jersey remains largely immune to such affordability fears.
As spring temperatures rise, so do the number of home deals among the area’s high-profile actors, athletes and others. Check out these offerings in the $1-million-to-$9-million range.
Once you’re done with these star-studded transactions, visit and like our Facebook page, where you can find additional Hot Property stories and updates throughout the week.
– Neal J. Leitereg and Lauren Beale
Keeping up with its listings
If you’ve been “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” over the years, there’s a good chance you’ll recognize this home in Studio City. The opulent estate was used to depict the front facade and grounds of the main Kardashian-Jenner compound during previous seasons of the reality TV show.
On and off the market about as frequently as the show’s sisters change their looks, the Italianate-style home is currently back on — this time at $8.995 million.
Set on nearly an acre, the 7,800-square-foot houseTony Dorsett Authentic Jersey boasts such details as ornate woodwork, hand-plastered Venetian walls, statues and murals.
Terraces, a saltwater swimming pool, lawns and landscaping complete the grounds.
The property also has been used for the HBO shows “Rome” and “True Blood.”
He takes a price cut
Actor Julian McMahon of "Nip/Tuck" fame has sold his Malibu home of about a decade for $3.55 million.
The property came on the market last year for $4.395 million, and after a few nips and tucks was most recently listed at $3.85 million.
The blue-exterior house has vaulted ceilings, walls of windows and 3,654 square feet of interior space.
Lush landscaping surrounds a blue-tiled swimming pool and spa. A volleyball court, lawn and mature trees fill out the park-like property.
McMahon, 48, appeared last year on the series “Hunters” and “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.”
She sells house of charm
Constance Zimmer of “House of Cards” and “UnREAL” has sold her home in Studio City for $2.15 million.
The Spanish-style two-story sits behind wrought-iron http://www.authenticcowboysstore.com/shop-by-players-dan-bailey-jersey-c-2_16.html gates. Vines along the facade and a Juliet balcony above the front door give the 2003 home an Old World vibe. This is what real estate agents called a “charmer.”
The approximately 3,620 square feet of living space contains a formal living room with a fireplace, a library with custom built-ins and a center-island kitchen. French doors in the great room and pink-hued dining room extend the living space outside.
Including a detached guesthouse, there are five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
Zimmer, 46, has scores of television credits, including “The Newsroom,” “Entourage” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”
Big man near the beach
Often it’s hard to tell where sports stars play based on their real estate purchases. A recent case in point: Tiago Splitter of the Philadelphia 76ers has picked up an ocean-view home in Malibu for $3.25 million.
Situated on a cul-de-sac, the single-story contemporary features marble and hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling glass walls and vaulted ceilings — a detail that likely appeals to the 6-foot-11 center.
The approximately 4,100 square feet of living space contains three bedrooms and four bathrooms. A great room with a fireplace and a http://www.authenticcowboyssale.com/shop-by-players-tyrone-crawford-jersey-c-2_26.html speakeasy-style bar sits off the kitchen.
Splitter, 32, was on the move earlier this year when he was traded by the Atlanta Hawks to the Sixers. The Brazilian-born big man won an NBA title in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs.

Darren McFadden to appear at Fort Smith preps banquet in June
By Times Record Staff
Darren McFadden, running back for the http://www.authenticraiderssale.com/shop-by-players-menelik-watson-jersey-c-2_49.html Dallas Cowboys and former standout for the Razorbacks, will be the featured speaker at the Times Record’s 2017 Best of River Valley Preps banquet.
The Heisman finalist and fourth overall pick by the Oakland Raiders in the 2008 NFL Draft will help honor the area’s top athletes and coaches at the June 1 event at the Fort Smith Convention Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 dinner.
The event will honor more than 300 athletes and coaches across 17 sports in the seven-county region of Sebastian, Crawford, Franklin, Logan, Scott, LeFlore and Sequoyah counties.
“We wanted to bring these great student-athletes a speaker with star power who has first-hand knowledge of the work, dedication and perseverance that it takes to rise to the top, even while overcoming various life challenges,” said Crystal Costa, publisher of the Times Record. “McFadden certainly fits the bill.”
This Dallas Cowboy carries a legacy as one of the top athletes in Arkansas history. In a recent fan poll by seccountry.com, McFadden, 29, was chosenJames Laurinaitis Womens Jersey by fans as the greatest Arkansas athlete in school history.
While fans can sometimes be fickle, his numbers back up the fondness fans continue to have of him.
A star at Oak Grove High School in central Arkansas, McFadden started with a bang in his freshman year at Arkansas. He ran for more than 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns. By the end of his first year, he was already establishing records in the SEC as one of only seven players to ever run more than 1,000 yards as a freshman. He was named SEC Freshman of the Year.
He continued to dazzle fans and coaches throughout his college career. He claims the honor for the two largest single-season rushing performances in Razorback history for his sophomore and junior years. With a record of 785 carries and 22 100-yard games, he is the most decorated football star in Hog history.
For his college career, he claims two second-place finishes for the Heisman, two SEC Offensive Player of the Year awards, two first-team All-American honors and three All-SEC honors, and only Hershel Walker tops his numbers in rushing.
“We are thrilled to have landed such a well-knownhttp://www.authenticsteelerssale.com/shop-by-players-franco-harris-jersey-c-2_38.html and beloved athlete. Of course, it only adds to the appeal that he has such strong Arkansas roots,” said Brian Sanderford, sports editor. “Even though his career with the Cowboys is still developing, he has this enormous legacy throughout Arkansas.”
“We are just so pleased to bring him home for this very special night,” Costa said.
McFadden is in his ninth season as an NFL running back. The Cowboys recently re-signed him to a one-year contract. He had other interest but opted to stay with the Cowboys.
While injuries have limited some of his star power, McFadden has more than 28 touchdowns, 5,400 rushing yards and 2,100 receiving yards.
During the Best of River Valley PrepsHines Ward Youth Jersey event, McFadden will share his experiences and insights, participate in a moderated Q&A with some audience questions, and take photos with top winners and VIPs.

Five Fun Facts about Casey Hayward
This offseason, we want you to get to know our players a little more off the field.
While you may know cornerback Casey Hayward had Brian Robison Jersey a Pro Bowl season leading the league in interceptions (seven), here are five fun facts about number 26. Read
Casey3: Similar to Malcom Floyd’s family ties, Hayward’s brother has a pretty familiar name. “I’ve got another brother named Casey. We have different moms, but we have the same name.” If you think the fun stopped there, think again. “And our dad’s name is Casey so there’s three of us.” Hayward said the most challenging part of the three of them having the same name comes when they’re in the http://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-cornellius-carradine-jersey-c-1_13.html same room. “When someone says ‘Casey!’ we all turn around.”
Undercover Poet: While Hayward is a fan of all types of music, certain genres have inspired him to hone his own skills. “I love to write poems. I won’t share them with people, but I like to do it. I like stuff that rhymes and things with meaning so I like to write even to music sometimes.” Hayward said he does it all for fun and won’t be dropping a mixtape a la Melvin Ingram any time soon.
Pro Bowler: Much like his teammate Denzel Perryman, Hayward is a big fan of bowling. He said his mom tried to put him in a league when he was young but it didn’t last long. Then when he got to the NFL, he would bowl regularly with his former Packers teammates and got pretty good at it. “I think I’m a decent bowler; my highhttp://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-shannon-sharpe-jersey-c-1_22.html score is a 240. I had like seven strikes in a row and messed it up on the tenth frame!”
Frequent Binger: When he’s not on the field, Hayward can be found at home catching up on some of his favorite television shows. “I binge watch so many shows on Netflix! If it’s a top 10 show, I’ve probably watched it.” He cites Revenge, Bloodline, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder and House of Cards as his favorites. “I binge watch so many shows they’re not all even coming to my head!”
Man’s Best Friend? Not So Much: If you’re having Hayward over for dinner any time soon and have a four-legged friend, you better hide it. “I don’t really like dogs so if people say they have one, I ask if they can put it away as soon as I come in. Even if they say their dog isn’t going to bite, I’ll say, ‘That’s fine! But would you L.P. Ladouceur Youth Jersey still mind putting him up?’” A dog bit Hayward when he was a kid hence why he has an aversion. He said if he has kids someday, they’re going to have to settle for a goldfish.

Re-grading Vikings' 2016 draft: WR Laquon Treadwell
With the 23rd pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Jack Butler Kids Jersey Minnesota Vikings selected wide receiver Laquon Treadwell out of Mississippi.
In his rookie season, Treadwell played in nine games and started one.
It wasn’t great as Treadwell caught just one pass for 15 yards, extremely underwhelming for anyone, let alone a first-round pick.
There’s no debating that in his firsthttp://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-deangelo-williams-jersey-c-2_66.html season, the Treadwell pick has “bust” label slowly creeping in. But there is some semi positive news.
Treadwell is only 21 years old, so there’s plenty of time for him to turn this around. And with the departures of Charles Johnson and Cordarrelle Patterson, Treadwell should so a bump in playing time by default along with getting a full offseason with quarterback Sam Bradford.
All of this could change, of course, if the Vikings decidehttp://www.coltsshopauthentic.com/shop-by-players-26-clayton-geathers-jersey-c-1_14.html to draft a wide receiver in the draft or add a veteran wide receiver (like Anquan Boldin) after the draft.

Seahawks bet on Blair Walsh. Why?
If you’re a fan of either the Minnesota Vikings or Seattle Seahawks (and the odds are frankly in favor thereof), then your lasting image Customized Womens Jersey of Blair Walsh, Kicker of Footballs, likely is:
because of the time he’d in front of the whole country. (Oh man. Look at the crowd reaction. You can practically smell the fatalism.)
Well. Just as most of us would not care to be defined by the worst minute of our professional life, Blair R. Walsh deserves a look at all the other minutes he’s spent aiming for end zones and uprights. Even if he weren't a Seahawk, he'd deserve such a courtesy.
College Walsh
What led him to be a 6th-round draft pick, out of Georgia, in an age when most kickers go undrafted? Maybe the two-year hot streak that was his sophojunior year: 40-of-45 on field goals. Maybe finishing his career as the SEC’s all-time leading scorer with 412 points.
He made six tackles, too; not too bad for a scrawny 5’9” guy from suburban Miami.
Rookie Walsh-January 9, 2016 Walsh
Teams are teased for drafting kickers in the Brandon Fusco Womens Jersey early rounds. Sometimes in any round! The Raiders might be able get away with nabbing a Janikowski in the first round, because face it, they're not going anywhere. The Buccaneers might trade up to select an Aguayo in the second round, because nobody north of Tallahassee is going to call them on it.
(You don't think the NFL is rigged. But if you ever were tempted to think it, just remember the Raiders’ only Super Bowl appearance since 1984 is a blowout loss to the Tampa Bay Buccafuckaneers, of all possible teams.)
So already in the spotlight, Walsh had to prove himself worthy of being the 175th pick. He did. I guess. If you call “first-team All-Pro your rookie year” an okay result.
Walsh made 35 of 38 field goal tries and 10 of 10 beyond 50 yards. At age 22.
Through two seasons, he’d missed all of nine kicks. Total. One inside of 40 yards. One! He was automatic. He was cruising through the fast lane of the Gostowski-Andersen Memorial Hall of Fame Turnpike. (That is a joke for the guy reading from New Jersey, who likes the Pats and remembers the 1998 playoffs.)
Right. Cruising. Except, kickers go through stuff. Seasons three and four of Walshy World played out like a TV show that simply couldn’t sustain its initial burst of torrid acting and sparkling dialogue, and instead defaulted into soap-opera mode http://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-emmanuel-lamur-jersey-c-2_52.html to keep advancing an uncertain plot. Five short kicks were missed. He settled for an 81.1 percentage overall; he became just another kicker among many.
Still, in the 2015 season itself, Walsh made two game-winning field goals, as the Vikings topped the Bears in Week 5 and the Rams in Week 6. He finished the fateful year with a league-leading 34 makes.
And. And, and, and... he came into the playoff game vs. Seattle with a lifetime 34-of-35 mark on kicks closer than 30 yards. Yes, that's exactly like the graphic a broadcast team puts up right before probability cranes its crooked neck back into the picture.
January 10, 2016 Walsh
People often forget that Walsh had http://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-eli-harold-jersey-c-1_19.html made all three of the previous kicks that fateful, arctic day. Including a 47-yarder and a 43-yarder. In one of the most meteorologically inclement settings a kicker can face.

Fort Mill duo Worth Gregory and J.T. Boyd hope to bolster town’s NFL ranks
The road to the NFL isn’t a free and easy joyride down Route 66. It’s a long journey with twists, turns, and fleeting opportunities. Fort Mill’s J.T. Boyd and Worth Gregory will tell you it takes preparation and perseverance.
The teammates at East Carolina’s dailySteve Atwater Womens Jersey routines for the past few months have consisted of training, lifting... and training some more. Boyd, a bearded, burly, 6-foot-4 300-pound offensive lineman, started his training earlier this year at New Jersey-based Test Football Academy, where his day consisted of a six-hour workout – speed and agility in the morning and weights in the afternoon - with a brief lunch break squeezed in between. The Nation Ford grad isn’t stressing about the process.
“This is what I’ve been doing my whole life since I was a little kid,” he said. “I’m just down to one last opportunity to put on a showcase of what I can do.”
Any scouts interested in Boyd have plenty of material to study. By his redshirt sophomore season in 2014, he was starting in an offensive unit that averaged 533 yards of total offense per game and ranked fifth nationally. Boyd was selected http://www.authenticsteelersshop.com/shop-by-players-eli-rogers-jersey-c-2_72.html second-team All-American Athletic Conference, and was honorable mention in 2015. In the classroom, he was an ECU Honor Roll and Dean’s List performer.
“I love working hard. It’s what I do, it’s what offensive lineman do,” said Boyd. “It’s part of the brand of being an offensive lineman and it’s what I try to do every day.”
During his career at ECU, he played against teams like Florida and Virginia Tech that consistently put players in the NFL every year.
“I’m confident in my ability to play against the best,” said Boyd. “I think I belong there.”
Boyd said he wasn’t hearing much from NFL teams, but he knew a good performance at ECU’S pro day in late March would increase his standing with scouts. All 32 NFL teams sent representatives to ECU for the pro day workout.
Boyd and Gregory, a standout punter from Fort Mill High, worked out for the hometown Carolina Panthers on April 7 to showcase their skills. Like Boyd, Gregory has tried to stay calm during the busy process. Before Friday’s date with the Panthers, he punted for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Miami Dolphins but said he could care less which team signs him.
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound kicker worked out with NFL punters like 49ers’ Bradley Pinion and Lions’ Sam Martin in the last couple of months.
“I’m new to all of it so I’m happy that I’mMike Adams Womens Jersey able to talk to these guys that have been in my position to help me go through what I’m going through right now,” said Gregory.
Like Boyd, Gregory’s work ethic has stood out at ECU.
“He will not take any shortcuts in getting to that final destination,” said Shannon Moore, ECU’s special teams coach. “He’s very organized about everything that he does from school work to his workout sessions.”
Gregory has an outgoing personality - a quality that will come in handy on an NFL roster. Moore said Gregory went to ECU coaches before the season and requested to room with the team’s true-freshman long snapper the night before games to help him cope with nerves. The Pirates’ punting unit didn’t have a single bad snap all fall.
“They respect and respond to things he feels like will help the team,” Moore said. “Anything an organization would ask him to do I feel he would jump at the opportunity to represent them.”
Gregory’s high school coach, Ed Susi, said Gregory spent plenty of time perfecting his craft while he was a Fort Mill Yellow Jacket.
“He knew what he had to do to succeed,” said Susi. “He worked his butt off on all kinds of kicks.”
Gregory spent his freshman year (2012) at Alabama as a walk-on with a squad that demolished Notre Dame to win the BCS National Championship. Since he was not on scholarship, he later decided to transfer and found a home at ECU.
Gregory earned a spot on the second team All-AAC roster in 2016, and started every game in his three years of eligibility. He averaged 43 yards per punt over the course of his career. Among conference foes, only Memphis’s Spencer Smith had a better average through those three years.
He was annoyed to miss out on the NFL Draft Combine and several senior all-star games.
“It’s kind of pushed me to work harder and show everyone why I think I should have been in those things,” said Gregory.
Boyd and Gregory are now shooting for the http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-dexter-mccoil-jersey-c-1_18.html opportunity to join Denver Broncos defensive end, Vance Walker, as Fort Mill-bred NFL players.
“When people think of the NFL in our area they start looking at Rock Hill,” said Gregory. “It’d be great to have some guys from Fort Mill in there other than Vance. It would be awesome for the whole town.”
J.T. Boyd started for two years at guard, before moving to center his senior year at East Carolina. His versatility and experience should help his quest to land on an NFL roster. Photo courtesy of East Carolina Athletics

Broncos coach Vance Joseph: Losing CB Kayvon Webster was huge
We see players switch jerseys Shaun Hill Womens Jersey every free-agency period. This offseason, one departure was tough on new Denver Broncos coach Vance Joseph.
“Losing Kayvon (Webster) was huge,” Joseph said, according to the team’s official website.
The Broncos lost out on Webster when he opted for a bigger opportunity in Los Angeles, signing a two-year contract with the Rams. Ahttp://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-garrett-celek-jersey-c-1_21.html move that reunited him with former Denver defensive coordinator Wade Phillips.
Webster served as a backup cornerback during his time in Denver. In four seasons, he played in 54 games and recorded 83 tackles, 1 interception and 14 passes defended.
Joseph said the team will first look to CB Lorenzo Doss to take over for Webster.
“(Lorenzo Doss) can do the job, but he has to prove it.”
Teams can never have enoughhttp://www.authenticbroncosshop.com/shop-by-players-tom-jackson-jersey-c-1_19.html cornerbacks in today’s pass-happy NFL. The Broncos will presumably draft a cornerback in the 2017 NFL Draft to add more depth to their secondary.

Drew Brees tells Bobby Hebert Focus is TEAM not CONTRACT
Saints quarterback Drew Brees is Xavier Rhodes Womens Jersey heading into the 2017 season on the final year of his current contract and has said that he does not want to negotiate a deal until AFTER the season. It has caused a bit of a stir amongst the Who Dat Nation. Some fans are thinking if the Black & Gold can’t get over the 7-9 hump for a 4th straight year, Brees might decide to take his talents elsewhere.
“I want the focus to NOT be about my http://www.officialvikingssale.com/shop-by-players-jarius-wright-jersey-c-2_47.html contract," Brees told Bobby Hebert, Deuce McAllister, and Deke Bellavia. "I want the focus to be about this team, this year and create that sense of urgency. For me and for them. I don’t care about anything else right now. As far as I’m concerned I could never play football again after this season. I want this season to be my absolute best, and I want it to be the absolute best for our team. So don’t look into that any further then I am focused on the here and now. And being in the present and focused on this team this year, that’s it.”
Brees is definitely looking forward to thehttp://www.authentic49ersshop.com/shop-by-players-jaquiski-tartt-jersey-c-1_25.html upcoming NFL draft. With the Saints having 5 picks in the top 103 selections, he is hoping the team can bring in the right pieces to help push the team back in playoff contention.
"We've got opportunities to really get some talent that can make an instant impact. Now so more than ever in our league you see rookies coming in and playing key roles in the team's success. I'm excited to see how that plays out for us and certainly I'd love top that be postions players that could make impacts now."
Meanwhile, all you coffee fans out there can win a chance to meet Brees. Dunkin’ Donuts of Louisiana is hosting a Twitter sweepstakesTj ward Authentic Jersey for five fans to win a cup of java with Drew. Search for the next Rodgers: Saints' conArthur Moats Youth Jersey undrum in drafting Brees' successor
METAIRIE, La. -- Andrew Brandt doesn't remember exactly how vocal it was, but he did "feel kind of a rumble from the coaching side of the room" before the Green Bay Packers drafted Aaron Rodgers with the 24th pick in 2005.
"Like, ‘Are we really gonna spend our top pick on someone that won't help us this year, maybe not next year, maybe not the year after, maybe never?'" said Brandt, who was a vice president with the Packers at the time, when ironman Mike Adams Youth Jersey starter Brett Favre was still just 35 years old.
"But then more of the managerial side of the room was like, ‘Listen, these scouts spend seven months putting the board together. Let's trust the board. This is our highest-rated player. Yes, he plays a position where we have the most durable player in the history of the league. But this is what our board is telling us.'"
It's a dilemma that all teams with a Hall of Fame quarterback face at some point, including the New Orleans Saints this year with 38-year-old Drew Brees: Do they find a worthy successor in the draft, or do they find someone who can help the http://www.officialchargesshop.com/shop-by-players-dontrelle-inman-jersey-c-1_19.html star win another Super Bowl before he's done?
Teams such as the Arizona Cardinals with Carson Palmer, the New York Giants with Eli Manning, the Pittsburgh Steelers with Ben Roethlisberger and the Los Angeles Chargers with Philip Rivers have similar choices to make.
It's an even tougher decision this year, because most draft analysts aren't very high on the 2017 quarterback class, with question marks surrounding every prospect from Deshaun Watson, Mitchell Trubisky and Patrick Mahomes II on down.
"I think all you can say about any of these guys is that they have a chance -- not that they're the answer," said ESPN analyst and former Indianapolis Colts general manager Bill Polian, who faced the dilemma when the Colts had Peyton Manning.
Polian said the Colts might have drafted Andy Dalton in 2011 if they had known the extent of Manning's neck injury.
"But I'll say with the exception of Deshaun Shaun Hill Womens Jersey Watson, none of these guys [this year] are Andy Dalton," Polian said. "For a number of reasons, not ability-wise. You just don't know who they are. ... None of these guys are Drew Brees coming out of college, that much I can tell you.
"So I guess the short answer is, it depends on the year."
